Now I Lay Me Down

To Sleep...

We're first going to enjoy one night at a very unique spot that is right on the beach. It's in the heart of Jaco so you can walk to shopping and restaurants. And you're steps from the beach for your surf lesson or soak up the sun while hearing the waves crash in.

The rest of the evenings are at the home pictured here. You'll feel spoiled every minute you are here.

It is a unique 3 story home, with 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and 3 kitchens. This private home has the largest pool in town, with a spacious sundeck and swim-up bar and 3 cabanas are poolside.

I've found the sweet spot to be 10-14 adventurers (I've hosted up to 20) as it provides a more intimate experience... one that we can adjust on the fly to curate even more incredible memories.

This is the coolest place. This is the beachfront hotel where we will sleep on the first night.

This is the backyard oasis of the private home we will be staying at for 4 nights. It's just one block from the beach too! I mean, you wouldn't even have to leave the property to have an amazing time!

Heck yeah, I'm ready to for an unplugged adventure.

Our Itinerary

This is the PROPOSED itinerary. The activities could get adjusted based on weather, availability, etc.

February 3rd- The Adventure Begins

Most guests from the USA will be flying into San Jose (SJO) on February 3rd. Two vans on February 3rd will be available to pick you up from the airport and drop you off at the hotel in Jaco (about a 90-minute drive). If you'd like to arrive earlier to explore other parts of Costa Rica, transportation to Jaco on February 3rd is on your own. If you want to arrive early and stay an extra night at the beachfront hotel we all are staying at the evening of February 3rd, I'm happy to make those arrangements for you.

Picnic on the beach at sunset for dinner. I'd recommend your flight arrival be no later than 2 pm if you want to enjoy the sunset that first evening.

February 4th- Surf Lessons & Custom Swimsuit Shopping

In the morning, all the women will go to a swimsuit shop where they will have their own custom swimsuit designed. Pick the pattern and the styles that you love and they will create it for you.. And a few days later, we will go pick up the finished swimsuits.

Today you'll enjoy a surf lesson (or stand-up paddle boarding, if you prefer, as long as the ocean is calm enough), and have time to explore the little shops in Jaco.

All meals are on your own today. Enjoy exploring the town and finding your favorite spots.

February 5th- Horseback Riding

Today, there is nothing planned during the day so you can enjoy relaxing poolside, walk to the beach or take an Uber into town. If you'd like to have another planned activity, I can share several ideas with you and make all arrangements (additional cost).

February 6th- ATV At The Waterfalls & Professional Portrait Session

A private chef will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us today. ATV 4 wheeling at waterfalls is the activity today. Professional portrait session on the beach in the evening. If you want to enjoy the nightlife, clubs come to life after 11 pm.

February 7th- Manuel Antonio National Park

After breakfast, prepared by the chef, we will go to Manuel Antonio National Park where you will be able to explore several paved paths and keep an eye out for three-toed sloths and endangered white-faced capuchin monkeys, and hundreds of bird species. There is a beautiful beach inside the park as well. No food is allowed inside the park so eat a hearty breakfast. Our private chef will prepare a late lunch for us when we return (and dinner later as well).

February 8th- Massages and Chill

Masseuses will come to the home to provide everyone with a 60-minute massage (you can upgrade to 90 minutes for an additional fee). No other planned activities so you have plenty of time to enjoy relaxing at home or walk to the beach.

If you'd like to have another planned activity, let me know and I'll be happy to schedule something else for you (at your cost). Fishing is a popular activity here from Panga fishing (a local fav), tuna fish, wahoo and maybe even catch some Mahi (but it's past prime season for Mahi). We can arrange a half-day or full-day for 2 or more people.

A private chef will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us today.

February 9th- Fly Home

Two shuttles are provided to the airport. We will plan them for what is most convenient for the majority. If you have a later flight (for instance) and don't want to go so early to the airport, transportation will be on your own. The drivers will aim to have most at the airport two to three hours before your flight.

It may be the end of this adventure... and we'll already be planning the next!

Meet Heather

Joy Should Be Shared

Heather is the heart behind Sweet Lemonade Photography and the Sweet Lemonade Adventure Club.

Her journey has taught her the value of unplugged travel—not just as an escape, but as a vital step towards achieving clarity in both life and business launching herself forward to the next level.

Heather has learned that by slowing down, we invite exponential growth, returning from our adventures not just rested, but more focused, and thereby becoming a better version of ourselves.

Sweet Lemonade Adventure Club is not just about seeing the world; we're about discovering the joy in every moment, even the sour ones, and sharing the happiness and laughter with those around us.

She has taken the lemons life has handed her and turned them into lemonade, a symbol of finding positivity in every situation.

As your chief experience curator, Heather offers you a seamless path to travel, free from the burdens and stress of planning.

Just bring your adventurous spirit and join us for the fun. Because when life gives us lemons, we make lemonade—and there's always enough to share.

A Few Of My

Favorite Things...

Some additional pics of a few of the fun activities on this trip.

Massages

Having the masseuses come to us is quite a treat. Each of you will receive a 60-minute massage. If you'd like to extend your massage to 90-minutes you'll be able to do so (additional cost.)

Horseback Riding

Late afternoon, we will meet the guides on the beach where we will begin our ride.

First, we will ride up into the mountains and explore the abandoned hotel. As we get closer to sunset we will head back down so we can catch the last bit of the sun while riding the horses on the beach.

Relaxation

You'll have an entire day to enjoy our private pool. Walk to the beach and soak up the sun while on a stand-up paddle board, read a book, nap... the choice is yours!

ATV Riding

Go exploring on 4-wheelers off-roading, through rivers, and enjoy a break at a waterfall.

Portrait Session

Commemorate this trip with a complimentary professional portrait session on the beach. (You can do a swimsuit shoot or wear your favorite outfit. Coming with a friend or significant other? We can do pics of you together!

Feel beautiful, worthy and confident each time you look back at your favorite portrait that will be professionally printed for you, my gift to you.

Custom artwork which allows you to relive this adventure anytime you want... an experience most people will never enjoy.

Surf Lesson

The surf lesson is a must, if you're able. It was exhilarating to get up on the board and surf. I wasn't sure my body was in surfing condition (cause it is a WORKOUT!) and I tried it anyway. And I loved it.

So awesome to try new things... and more often than not I'm surprised at what is possible. The instructors are so incredibly helpful and supportive and I'll be there cheering you on!

Custom Swimsuit

All the ladies will have a chance to design their custom swimsuits. Choose from a variety of styles of tops and bottoms or choose from one of the many one-piece options. Then choose your favorite pattern and they will have the suit completed before we leave. Talk about a creative souvenir, right? I can't wait for all of you to experience this special activity.

FAQ

Where Do I Fly Into?

You will fly into San Jose (SJO) Costa Rica on February 3, 2025. There will be two airport transfers to the hotel in Jaco. You'll also fly out of San Jose (SJO) Costa Rica on February 9, 2025. It's about a 90-minute drive to the airport.

Can You Accommodate Dietary Restrictions?

Yes, we’re happy to say there are plenty of food options in Costa Rica. Please clearly state any allergies and intolerances you have, along with your dietary preferences on the trip planning forms when we send them to you. If you have any questions about the foods being served, our private chef will be available to assist.

I Need A Roommate. How Do I Arrange That?

If you would like to be matched with a roommate, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to pair you with someone else who is also seeking a roommate. Then you’ll have a chance to meet and get to know your roomie before the trip. In case there is no one to pair you with, your room will be considered a single, and an additional single occupancy supplement will be added to the trip fee.

Do I Need Travel Insurance?

No, however travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and medical coverage is always recommended.

Will I Have Internet Access?

Yes.... free wi-fi is widely offered at restaurants. If you want to communicate with family while you're traveling, WhatsApp allows you to text and make calls without paying for an international cellular plan. Wifi is also available at both places we will be staying.

What Do I Pack?

Comfortable, casual, and laid-back is perfect for this adventure. Temps typically are upper 80's and lower 90's in February. And the sun is STRONG.... pack plenty of sunscreen. After you say yes to the adventure, you'll receive an entire planning guide that includes a packing list.

Is The Entire Itinerary Shared Final?

Yes... and no. The activities we are planning should not change. AND.... because these are custom trips, we have the luxury to make adjustments on the fly.

For instance, on one trip we chose to skip the day tour and sit poolside all day instead. Totally unplanned and wonderful.

Utilize this itinerary as a guide but do NOT expect us to follow it 100%. Sometimes we do. Sometimes we adjust. Adjustments may be necessary (I.e closures) or done to create a greater experience.
